Sunset Sabotage is an alternative band from Calgary, blending influences of punk, rock, emo, and funk into a sound that’s both raw and melodic. What began in dive bars has quickly grown into a project defined by emotional range, dynamic energy, and genre-bending instincts.
Formed by Tyler (guitar, vocals), Kristen (synth, vocals), Cam (bass), and Romer (drums), the band made their debut in April 2022 with Lana, followed by Falling Fast later that year. In 2023, Couldn’t Get Enough introduced a funk-driven shift, while still staying grounded in their alternative roots.
Their self-titled debut EP, Sunset Sabotage, released January 24, 2025, features collaborations with Calgary producers Kevin Davis, Daniel Swinamer, and Cory Bitner. The EP explores themes of independence, nostalgia, and heartbreak.
Whether you’re drawn in by the riffs, the synths, or the lyrics, Sunset Sabotage makes music for late nights, long drives, and everything in between.
